Dear Victor Janson: You have lost your mind or the Jewish lobby or Israel has something on you.
Let me say first what in my opinion what you say makes sense.
Yes, Carlson should have pushed back on Fuentes on the “I admire Stalin issue”.
I think Carlson is now a foaming at the mouth antisemite; otherwise he would not have said: “Hamas is just a political party”.
As of Fuentes’ “dangerous” ideas, the way to discredit them if tjey are bad is to debate him. There is also the posibility some ideas are dangerous because they are good. In any case, if Fuentes has so many followers we have some basic possibilities; his followers think like him or he articulates their concerns or they are not very intelligent. Regardless, it is obvious Fuentes resonates with a lot of people. Instead of going after Fuentes, the rstional thing is: “we have to assume his followers are normal Americans, what is happening in America that so many people like him?, where are the American elites, including the Jewish elite gone wrong?, let us identify and fix”.
There is one key factor creating many new antisemites and anti politician in the US: in the opinion of more and more Americans, “the Jews have too much imfluence over US politicians in regards to Israel. That id not the fault of the Jews, the Jewd use their money and brains to influence the US government in the direction they think it is right and do so by legal means. Nothing illegal in that. Unfortunately it seem a growing number of Americans perceive that the Jewish lobby puts Israel’s interests ahead of the interests of Americans and they resent the politicians amd the Jews for that. The only wsy to fic the antisemitism createf by thos fact is for American Jewd to become America Firsters and tell Israel: “you are grown ups, you are on your own, we will not lift a finger to help Israel unless the existence of Israel is in danget. Hamas are not a danger to Israel, they lack the power. Since your tacticd in Gaza are not acceptable to most Americans we align witj them. Furthermore, we ser that our efforts to help Israel and what you do in Gaxs are creating a lot of antisemidtidm on the Left and the right:.
Victor Hanson not mentioning that the root problem is that the Jewish lobby has control ovets most US politicians on Isrsel issues shows there must beva hidden reason. Ligically, that discredits him. The attempts of people like Victor to dismiss the obvious infñuence of the Jewish lobby is irrational. He is dumb of lies by omission when he speaks of Jews in the Trump administration not having exercise undue inñuence. He must know the influence of the Jewish lobby does not come from that but from the massive donations to political campaigns and other factors to reward politicians after they leave office. Again, nothing illegal in what Jews do but it clashes with the opinion of most Americans. It is not illegal for big business, professional associations, unions, etc., to donate to campsigns but people do not like that either because they feel that as a result Americans have to pay more for drugs, the US gets involved in wars, they have no universal health system, too many legal and illegals come to the US, too many politicians are corrupt, too much junk is allowed in food, etc.
The way to prevent the mess is the Swiss system; let the American people decide democratically in a Swiss style referendum (not California style) these issues; from the degree of assistance to Israel to war involvement to universal health.
What Hanson is doing is discrediting himself and fueling the idea that Jews and lobbies have too much power.
It is sad because I considered him a courageous voice. If the US establishment continues on this tack they are “Weimarizing” the US at full speed…
