World trade and trust has been destroyed by the CCP.
Instead of using the opening of the wralthy world markets to develop China and bring prosperity to China, it used the opening to cheat, steal, trade unfairly.
Furthermore, it used its growing power to throw its weight around in the South China Sea, against India and to undermine the West (which includes Japan).
Tje inevitable reaction is that China has scared everybody and the resoult is decoupling from China.
The other nations are also realizing that CCP-run China is an existencial threat are they are developing a huge military and commercial alliance that with or without war will destroy the CCP.
To make matters worse, China’s childish arrogance, with its decidions restricting rare earths and now silver, has made it obvious, even to US Democrats, that China can not be part of the community of nations as longcas the CCP and its irrational, Hitler-like homicidal-suicidal policies dominate China.
The CCP has cultivated hate of the West and the crazy idea China is superior; how can it be superior if it has had no choice but to accept and make its own all Western ideas about science, technology, governance, business, etc.
Unfortunately, still holds on to Communist dictatorship, the worst idea ever produced by the West, instead of opting for Taiwan style democracy.
One of these day we will wake up to another Den Xiao Ping who will bring, democracy, press freedom, freedom of expression to the Chinese people. A people I believe they are intelligent enough to deserve and prosper in democracy.
Once that happens the West could not care less if China “ makes everything”.
Sooner or later most Chinese will realize the CCP is the barrier that prevent China from becoming a really great nation.
