China, US, empires, Ray Dalio is wrong.

The CCP is taking China to the final humiliation.

I think many miss an important point. The point is that the emerging power, China, is a dictatorship, basically an illegitimate government tha fears its own people. In China, it is obvious the the government fears and does not trust the people and the people fear and do not trust the government.

Furthermore, the only factor that keeps the CCP in power is the increase of prosperity and power that the CCP has brought, so far, but that is rapidly slowing.

The problem is the Chinese regime has made a fatal mistake; instead of being honest with the prosperous nations of the West, Japan, India, etc., included. Countries who trusted the CCP, opened its markets to China, invested billions in China, transferred billions of technology and know how to China, transferred millions of jobs to China, etc., and trusted that China would become a fair trader, the CCP betrayed those countries.

I do not know if the Chinese peopke really carry such resentmenr of the West that could not resist being deceitful and dishonest and using the growing power of China, not just to become a dishonest trader but also to directly undermine democracies, particularly the US with spies, drugs, stealing science and technology, etc.
Or the problem is the CCP who exploits crazed nationalism by talking about the Chinese being a superior people who have been humiliated by the “inferior” West and Japanese, obviously irrational stuff because humiliation by the inferior is not possible.

Predictably, the democracies, particularly the US woke up and the reaction started; basically we have to bring manufacturing back because China is the enemy.

As the logical hostility towards China grows, the CCP, instead of responding with friendly and fair policies on trade, investments, etc., has responded with more aggression; by restricting rare esrths exports and now of silver, not to mention its aggressive policies towards Taiwan and the countries around the South China Sea.

In orher words, we are at war with China.

A huge military and industrial alliance is forming against China, and it includes the whole West, India, Japan and others. Even Russia will ditch Putin and join because the Russians know the CCP salivates over resource rich Siberia.

In orher words, the choice for China is clear; either it becomes a fair dealing democracy and joins the civilized democratic nations of the East and the West or the war will continue to the bitter end.

The US has already taking clear steps by pushing its companies to bring manufacturing back, by initiating the devaluation of the dollar to make the US more attractive to manufacture, but it us also acting more directly against China, for example, banning certain products, restricting exports of certain technologies, patrolling the South China sea more, forming the military alliance.

But also the US is going further, for example, by kicking the Chinese out of Panama and Venezuela.

It also looks like the US is going after China in Iran.

The Chinese must know that the West, particularly the US, is going after the CCP because only a free and democratic China will become a fair trader.

The CCP can avoid a huge historical humiliation to the Chinese people, and even the break up of China, by doing to itself politically what the CCP of Den Xiao Ping did to itself economically.

Den Xiao Ping ditched economic marxist dictatorship, and turned China into a capitalist dictatorship, authoritatian politically but productive, more or less like nazi Germany, including the racial superiority nuttiness.

If the CCP does not fade away, or if the Chinese people do not throw it into the Yellow River, there will be hot war with the US and its allies.

Among the first steps will be the Americans and its allies, including Israel, (sayonara to the Palestinian state) cutting off oil, food and uranium supplies to China and it will be over pretty soon.

In other words, it is possible that the West is decaying but what the West and its allies will not tolerate, and are prepared for all sacrifices to save their freedoms, just like they did with the Nazis and the USSR.

The skirmishes Trump provokes with his stupid aggressive style will not distract the civilized nations from the fact that Trump is temporary and that the alliance against totalitarian China is necessary to prevent becoming serfs of the CCP regime, just like the people of China are.

Those who wish or seem resigned to China under the CCP becoming the World dominant power are wrong. As long as the CCP is in charge it will not happen. It will be prevented my massive war if necessary.

A democratic, fair dealing could become dominant power but it will have to be as a fair dealing democracy, not as a totalitarian empire.

By the way, those who refer to the “American empire” are irrational. The US makes some stupid mistakes, like bombing Libya, or going into the second Gulf War.

But was not the first war against Irak justified after Saddan invaded Irak?

Did the US dominate the nations of Western Europe as an empire? Did any Western nation experience a revolt against the US like Hungary or Chekoslovakia against the Evil Empire? Did America punish or attack France when lunatic De Gaulle pulled France off NATO? Did the Americans humiliate or exploit Germany of Japan after WW2 or did the Americans allow all kinds of imports from both countries although between both, with their supetior products, practically destroyed may key US industries, like cars, etc.? Let us be rational about the US.

And Ray Dalio is wrong, the Chinese do not thing long term. The CCP is as short term as you can get; always thinking in terms of intrigues among factions, always fearing the people. Xi thinksbin terms of surviving politically until 2028.

If China thought long term it would not act as dishonestly and agressively against its trading partners and provoke the reaction it has provoked.
