- Awareness of problems you can not solve, because you lack the power to, is worse than having the problems. Such is the situation of the majority of Americans and the people of all democracies. There one exception, Switzerland, because the Swiss have the power to address and and solve any problem over the heads of polititicians, lobbies and even the Swiss Supreme Court. Totalitarian regimes of the right or the left are abominations; from China to Iran, from Russia to Cuba, from North Korea to Saudi Arabia but, unfortunately, most democracies have turned into 24/7 bullshit. What I do not know is if bs democracies will turn to crazy marxism or crazy fascism or, if by a stroke of luck and genius, they will turn to to the Swiss system where the ordinaty citizens if all tendencies and with common sense, the majority are so, will directly take control of cities, states and the whole nation, keeping forever at bay Marxist and Fascist demagogues, posing or not as democrats.
